Do you use true ASL, or do you modify the signs? I cannot tell from your information here. The term “gestures” in some of your information makes me hesitant, since these are signs, not gestures, if they are actual ASL signs.

Hi Lauraslefthook, Yes, true ASL is used, and yes you are correct, the term hand shapes is more accurate and it has been modified to reflect accurate terminology.
